From July 15, 2015 to July 17, 2015, the NPRC hosted seven influential food/nutrition media and bloggers in Lynden, WA to experience first-hand the raspberry harvest and field-to-frozen processing. Attendees visited five growers/processors, and also had the opportunity to learn about emerging raspberry varieties and judge a raspberry recipe contest. In addition, raspberries were featured prominently in the meals attendees enjoyed on the tour.
