This July, as growers are deep in harvest, the Washington Red Raspberry Commission will be building awareness statewide for this special time of year in the raspberry fields through a new Harvest Campaign. The effort includes: a partnership with Macrina Bakery locations throughout Seattle to feature Washington Red Raspberry baked goods, an increased presence at the Northwest Raspberry Festival (July 15-16), media coverage throughout the state, a special raspberry edition of the new Washington Grown magazine, and tours for key decisionmakers within schools, manufacturing and foodservice.
