*Make the date paste by soaking 10 dried dates in warm water for about an hour. Drain the dates from the water and reserve the soaking water. Remove the date pits, and place in a blender or food processor. Puree the dates, adding 1 tablespoon of the reserved soaking water at a time, until a smooth, thick consistency is achieved.
