Valentine’s Day Treats Featuring Raspberries

Four Raspberry Conversation Heart Pops on wooden skewers spelling out the word Love

While we completely understand the point of view that some think February 14 feels like a made-up holiday of overpriced flowers and heightened expectations, if we can find an excuse to celebrate love and all things heart-shaped and raspberry-red, we’ll gladly join the celebration!

This Valentine’s Day, show your special someone, your friends, your family, and most importantly, yourself some love by serving up a delicious raspberry recipe. And if there’s one thing (other than love) worth celebrating – even in the middle of winter – it’s delicious raspberry recipes.

If you’re not crazy about artificial red food coloring, take this brilliant tip from Parent’s Magazine and make your own homemade food coloring using frozen raspberries. This kitchen hack can be used in a variety of dishes to slightly color your recipes – from sweet Valentine’s Day treats to sauces.

Mini Razz Crush Tart

Mini Razz Crush Tarts

Frost your own Mini Razz Crush Tarts with naturally raspberry-colored glaze. These homemade tarts are easy with the help on pre-made pie crust and frozen raspberries!

These muffins are not too sweet, which makes them perfect for breakfast or a coffee break (so technically you can eat them all day long!). They are also delicious toasted and spread with butter and raspberry jam. In fact, that’s when they’re best.

Raspberry Chocolate Muffins

If you want to keep on theme with all things chocolate this Valentine’s Day, these Raspberry Chocolate Muffins were made for you. They’re not too sweet, which makes them perfect for breakfast or a coffee break (so technically you can eat them all day long!).  They are also delicious toasted and spread with butter and raspberry jam.

Conversation Heart Cookies with Raspberry Glaze

These adorable heart-shaped cookies get their bright pink hue from frozen raspberries! Use pre-made cookie dough for the easiest Valentine’s Day cookies.
